I will start with some of the good things the programs they have for poor kids are awesome. But the teachers here treat the kids bad the yell and talk down to them. Parent Review 8y ago. John S Park Elementary School. My girl went there from pre-k to 4th.
I love the teachers. Every one. Honor roll every yr. We moved and new school has better ratings but teachers and staff much worse. Class size bigger and now she has b and c grade. Her opinion is much better group of kids but staff not so much. Makes me appreciate Park Elementary much more. Happier teachers happier students. Wish I had stayed there. Parent Review 2y ago.
Valley High School. The teachers are dedicated professionals who go out of their way to ensure their students receive high quality instruction. My son a freshman , who had previously only attended private schools, feels challenged and excited to learn every day. He has been able to play sports and participate in Varsity Quiz and still has plenty of time for homework and projects. The coursework is rigorous but not excessive.

A lot of the local bars have fun stuff too". Resident 3y ago. Schools very close by as well as playgrounds and dog parks. You see homeless people walking around once in a while. The bus system is good in this area.
Traffic is light even at rush hours. Not a lot of car traffic in and out of the neighborhood as it is not a through street. There's no quiet time. It's the worst HOA anywhere. I'm going to go elsewhere.
The kids damage and climb on covered parking. If you can define " boisterous "? Then you don't belong. Good Luck with parking wars , drug and alcohol addicts that send the children to the pool with no adult escorts to watch them. The pool water is rarely cleaned and the it's used as a toilet for those using it.
The diapers are a real turn off. Filthy mouthed young kids. Lush lawns, mature trees, manicured lawns and so quiet. A Brick walk path for jogging with your dog, so secure and maybe minutes to Las Vegas Strip, you'd never know! Love mature manicured bushes around the pools for privacy. Gender Identity.
