It took forever for our food to arrive 30 minutes even though there were only 3 other tables in the entire restaurant. I had the barbecue chicken and my companion had the pulled pork. The chicken was SO dry and gross. The pork was very fatty and not "pulled" - more like chunks. It was awful. This is my 3rd time at Virgil's -- the first two times were about 10 years ago and it was MUCH better.

Loved the sevice. Chili good. Brisket overcooked. Top came off bbq sauce container smothering food. Enjoyed drinks. The drinks were awesome. The food was awesome. The wait staff was awesome. If your still using the printer system in your kitchen you should upgrade to a computer based touchscreen system for the cooks. How it works is the server rings in the food and the computer does all the timing for you. Food was amazing. Place is noisy. Service is efficient and quick.

First time trying it. Our server David was incredible. Top notch. Food was really good, especially for Times Square. Would recommend for sure. They have smoked dry ribs, chicken, and sausage.

The location is close to the southern end of Times Square 44th street. The service is friendly and professional. The food hot and delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant. Virgil's never disappoints!! A staple for many years in Times Square!

Our most recent visit was great, I feel comfortable knowing all other customers are fully vaccinated. Staff is super friendly and the food was delicious. Always good.

Superb ribs. Nice outdoor space. The bbq sauce was bland but the chicken meat was tender. The experience was awesome. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

The recipe for wings has changed which is unfortunate because they were the main reason we come. Troy was a great server. So very friendly! Overall great atmosphere! Fried to a golden crisp and not a drop of grease! Great to have Virgil's back!!! The ribs are even better than ever. Prompt, courteous service.

So happy to be back! The food was disappointing. I ordered the ribs and they we served lukewarm and the meat was tough. In past visits the meat would fall off the bone. My wife ordered the chicken and it was dry. The cornbread was a hockey puck. Virgils is a go to every time we are in NY and we know they just reopened. Not sure if this was a factor, but we came away feeling let down by the experience.
