Since then his reputation has grown tremendously and so has his live show. A complex and awe inspiring light display begins behind stage and the young artist steps proudly behind his decks and drops 'Watch Out For This' by Major Lazer. He consistently keeps the crowd dancing and screaming with a combination of expertly designed mixes and trippy, surreal visuals. As the screens pulsate and the intro to 'I Can't Stop' begins the audience lose their mind and jump and dance in unison.

A combination of some of the best new dance music and his own popular tracks such as 'Bass Cannon' cements Flux Pavilion's reputation as a real one to watch in the dance music world.

Flux Pavilion is an English dub step producer and DJ who has been slowly rising through the ranks of the music industry, in particular the electro and dance scene, since Flux Pavilion, real name Joshua Kierkegaard G. He has attained quite the devoted fan base with his eccentric music style and edgy electronica.

It felt like I was in the midst of a new rave festival, or at a full moon party. The energy was electric and Flux Pavilion was great at getting the crowd pumped. If you're a "bass in your face" kind of person, the supporting-lineup was great. Flux Pavilion, himself, seems to be in some kind of transition-state with his art. I get that artists need to keep evolving.

And I get that you don't want to alienate your prior fans. But when you're changing your sound, you really need to go "all in" and make a clean break from your prior sound. Otherwise, the mish-mash of your old and new styles can end up creating a really uneven set. That unevenness can end up in really high-relief if your supporting acts were selected based on your prior sound - as seemed to be the case last night. I wish Flux Pavilion all the best, though.

But for now, Kompany and Dubloadz are more where I am as a listener. Even Dion Timmer put on an easier to get into set because his sound across the length of his set was more cohesive.

I've seen Flux three times now, and I have to say he is one my all-time favorites to see live. Not only does he deliver his classic sounds for the fans, but he also throws in a variety of new tracks that sound amazing and give you all sorts of emotions. The Ravine was probably one of the best venues I've been to in Atlanta.

I would definitely relive seeing Flux at the Ravine over and over if I could. I will admit I was a bit sad his set ended a bit earlier than the first two openers but he still delivered some great and enjoyable EDM.

Also, the light show in the Ravine is insanely beautiful and is probably the best lighting I've seen in an Atlanta venue. Keep up the amazing work! It was a really cool experience. I don't think that Flux helped in that as much as my desire to listen to some of his songs.

So when he came out after a while I was just pumped that some dubstep was playing. Having said that, I did have a great time and for the price it was definitely worth listening to his playlist for an hour and some minutes. So good! Loved every second of it.

The opening act was good too. Everyone there was super nice and everyone was dancing. He didn't just play his music he remixed some kendrick songs so that was a cool surprise. Would definitely go again. Everyone should see flux. Fucking incredible!! Experience of a lifetime definitely! If you like EDM at all you should definitely catch Flux on tour, the finale alone was worth the whole night. The openers were decent too but flux came in and just fucking blew the roof off with bass.

Flux killed it as usual! If you live for bass music, then flux is who you need to see because there was never a dull moment! Packed house is the usual especially at a venue like Exchange!

Always have great experiences there and will be going back for more!! One of the best sets I've ever seen. Flux is a fucking legend. Do not miss a chance to see him. He played his louder remix and emotional for the end and everyone lost their shit. See all videos 1. See all photos 6. See all posters View all past concerts. Want to see Flux Pavilion in concert? Known as Joshua Steele to friends and family, Flux is a singer-songwriter, record producer and label owner who plays the drums, guitar, saxophone and piano.

Not bad for a guy who started out replaying jingles he'd heard on TV on his Casio keyboard. Influenced by the likes of David Bowie, The Beatles and Frank Zappa in the early years, it was when he heard The Prodigy and The Chemical Brothers that Flux Pavilion knew he had found a musical direction he truly wanted to explore for himself. But the major turning point for this unquestionably talented musician was a visit to London superclub Fabric: "I never went to clubs because I didn't feel accepted into that scene; it felt too showy, too well-groomed.

Then I saw Rusko play at Fabric and it changed my perception of everything. He was jumping around wearing a big cardboard hat shaped like a bird playing the most outrageous music I had ever heard. I loved it. While most students are thinking about where to go on their gap year, Flux Pavilion was celebrating 'I Can't Stop' being picked as Zane Lowe's 'Hottest Record in the World' when at the time he was still living in student halls.

Reaching new heights, Flux has recently been the first producer ever to be officially asked to remix the Star Wars theme song in what will surely be a highlight of his career to date. In that time Flux has continued to develop his signature sound, retaining the all-important energy that The Prodigy and Rusko inspired him with in the early days and undoubtedly inspiring a generation of electronic music producers of his own in the process.
